A marketplace for one-of-one and small-run pieces made by the people selling them. Each maker has a room: their own page, in their own look, with their pieces, drops and story.

That is the rule of the place. Every listing carries the maker's declaration of how the piece was made, and reselling mass-produced goods is prohibited by the Seller Rules. If you doubt a listing, report it; a person reviews every report.

You pay Ateliroom by card or PayPal. The money is held and only released to the maker after delivery is confirmed, so nothing is paid out for a piece that never ships. This is Ateliroom Protection and it applies to every purchase.

5% of the price plus €0.70 covers secure payment, held funds until delivery, tracked shipping requirements and a person to turn to when something goes wrong. It is shown before you pay.

Makers ship within 5 days (longer for made-to-order pieces, shown before you buy). If the ship-by date passes without a tracked shipment, your order is refunded automatically. Makers can ask you once for a few more days; you can decline and be refunded.

After delivery you have 2 days to confirm all is well or raise an issue from your order page. Raise it and the payout stays on hold while support looks at it with you and the maker.

When you buy from a professional seller, EU distance-selling law gives you 14 days after delivery to withdraw, except for pieces made to your specifications or personalised. Private sellers are not bound by that right, and this is stated at checkout before you pay. On top of the law, each maker states their own return policy on the piece.

Shipping is always tracked. Where the maker ships on prepaid carrier labels, you choose the delivery service and see the real price at checkout; otherwise you pay a flat estimate by parcel size and destination and the maker posts it tracked. Valuable jewellery only ships with signed-for, insured services.

A set of pieces released at a chosen moment. Follow a room and you are emailed the second the drop opens. Pieces in a drop are hidden until then.

Anyone who makes what they sell: designed and made by you, upcycled or reworked by you, produced from your own design with a workshop you name, or a collaboration you are authorised to sell. You accept the Seller Rules before your first piece goes live.

Listing is free. On a sale Ateliroom keeps 4% of your listed price, never more than €25 per sale. Founding rooms get a number of fee-free sales. Buyers pay the protection fee on top of your price, so it never comes out of what you set.

After delivery is confirmed and the buyer's 2-day check window has passed, your payout goes to your connected Stripe account or PayPal email. Connect payouts in Studio → Payments before publishing.

EU law requires buyers to know which they are dealing with before purchase. Professional sellers show a business number and grant the statutory withdrawal right; private sellers do not. You choose in Studio → Room and it is shown at checkout. If you sell regularly, you are most likely a professional seller; ask an accountant if unsure.

Tracked, within the ship-by date shown on the order. Fill in your ship-from address in Studio → Payments and buyers can choose a real carrier service at checkout; you then print a prepaid label from the order. Declare parcel weight and size honestly on the listing: carriers re-measure.

Studio → Room. Start with a look and your own words in about a minute, then refine anything on the full canvas: place pieces, text, clips, stickers and effects anywhere, and publish when it feels right.

A case is opened and a person reviews it. For serious claims the piece may be hidden while we look; you are told why, can respond from your studio, and hear the decision and the reason. See the IP policy.

You are responsible for your own tax obligations. Under EU rules (DAC7) marketplaces report sellers above certain thresholds to the tax authorities; we tell you when that applies to you and what we report.
